E-commerce Development
The storefront and the work that happens after someone pays: stock, orders, and the admin around a sale.
What this work is
E-commerce work includes the catalog a buyer sees and the operations behind it. Checkout, payment, and the admin that follows an order are one system. A theme that cannot represent how the business actually sells is the wrong starting point.
Problems this usually addresses
The catalog cannot take the real order
Variants, quantities, or how the business prices a product do not fit the template.
Payment is disconnected from the order
Money is captured, then someone retypes the order into another tool.
Admin starts when the theme ends
Refunds, stock, and fulfilment live in a spreadsheet beside the store.
Typical capabilities
- Catalog structure that matches the products being sold
- Checkout and payment collection
- Order admin for the people fulfilling the sale
- The connection between a paid order and stock or fulfilment
Engineering approach
We have implemented Razorpay inside operational products, including Restrowise billing and Swaasa Office. Those products are not public storefronts, and this page does not present them as e-commerce case studies. A storefront is scoped from how the business sells.
Technologies used for this kind of work
How an engagement runs
We trace one product from the catalog to a paid order and the admin step that follows, before widening the catalog.
01
Discover
We learn the operation, the users, and the constraints before proposing software.
02
Plan
Scope, architecture, and a sequence of work that can be reviewed while it is being built.
03
Design
Flows and interface structure, resolved far enough that engineering is not guessing.
04
Engineer
Production-minded increments, with direct conversation from the people writing the code.
05
Test
Behaviour, integrations, and the paths people actually take, checked before release.
06
Launch & Evolve
Release, then stay with the product so it remains maintainable as the business changes.
Questions we are often asked
Is Swaasa Natural an online store?
Swaasa Office is the business application behind Swaasa Natural: catalog, warehouse, purchasing, shop orders, subscriptions, invoicing, and reporting. It is not presented here as a public storefront.
Which payment provider do you use?
Razorpay is the provider we have implemented in shipped products. Another provider can be scoped if the business already uses it.
Do you reskin an existing platform?
When a hosted platform fits the way the business sells, we say so. Custom development is for the parts a theme cannot represent honestly.
